The D20DTF(R) engine from SsangYong began to be installed on their cars in 2012. There are two modifications of this engine D20DTR and D20DTF, in fact the d20dtf engine and the d20dtr engine are the same thing. The whole difference is only in the installation of the engine, the D20DTF motor is installed transversely on machines in which the main drive is front, the D20DTR motor is installed longitudinally on frame machines in which the main drive is rear.  Turbines, oil pans and intake manifolds, respectively, structurally distinguish them. D20DTR and D20DTF engines are interchangeable; you just need to rearrange the attachments, turbine and manifold, engine mount brackets. This diesel R4-cylinder 16 valve engine is a full complete assembly manufacturing SsangYong. The complete engine assembly includes a water pump, electric generator, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, turbocharger, oil filter, distributor system, starter, air-con compressor, injectors, injector pump.
